Frequently asked questions

We understand that adding a Chihuahua puppy to your home is a major milestone. Explore our most common inquiries regarding pricing, waiting lists, travel options, and health guarantees.

How much do your Chihuahua puppies cost?

Our pet companion Chihuahua puppies typically range from $3,200 to $4,000, depending on coat type, coloring, and pedigree. Please check specific litters or reach out directly for current exact pricing.

What is included with my puppy?

Each puppy goes home up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, microchipped, thoroughly vet-checked, and accompanied by a comprehensive health record and puppy starter kit.

How do I reserve a puppy?

Once your adoption questionnaire is approved, a non-refundable deposit of $300 secures your chosen puppy or place on our waitlist. The remaining balance is due at pick-up.

When can my puppy come home?

Because Chihuahuas are a delicate toy breed, puppies must remain with their mother until at least 8 to 12 weeks of age to ensure proper weaning and early socialization.

Do you offer delivery or pick-up options?

Families are welcome to pick up their puppy in Springfield, Missouri. We can also coordinate safe hand-to-hand delivery via a flight nanny or meet at local regional airports upon request.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes, all PrismaPawsChihuahuas puppies come with a written one-year genetic health guarantee against life-threatening congenital conditions.

Are puppies sold with breeding rights?

All of our Chihuahua puppies are placed under a strict spay and neuter pet contract unless pre-arranged and approved show or breeding rights are granted.

Where can I hear from previous adopters?

You can read stories and see photos from our happy puppy families on our Happy Tails page anytime.
